Leupold VX-III Scopes

The Leupold VX-III Rifle Scopes are the most popular selling scopes and the work horse of the Leupold Scope Line. These are premium rifle scopes of proven durability, including totally waterproof, shockproof, fog proof.

The standard VX-III riflescope is built with one piece one inch main tubes made of aircraft quality aluminum. The side focus models are built with 30mm tubes for increased internal adjustment range. The Leupold VX-III also features the Index Matched Lens System that achieves up to 98% Total Light Transmission. Multi-coated optics are also featured which appear sharp and clear throughout the entire center to edge area. The glass surfaces are coated with the Leupold's Multi-coat anti-reflective lens coating for excellent light transmission and freedom from glare.

All of the Leupold VX-III rifle scopes are available with a matte black finish. Most are available in gloss black and five of the more popular models are available with a silver finish. The windage and elevation adjustments are in 1/4 minute of angle increments. reticle remains constant at all magnification settings. The eyepiece focus is achieved by turning the ocular bell. The VX-III scopes are sealed from moisture and are filled with nitrogen, making them truly waterproof and fog proof.

The Leupold VX-III scopes are available with 11 different reticle options. The standard duplex is the most popular reticle style. This type has a heavy crosshair that becomes a fine crosshair near the center of the field. This type of reticle has been copied by several other scope manufacturers.
